Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Konnect mobile application or website. By creating an account or using Konnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Konnect.

1. About Konnect

Konnect is a mobile application and community platform operated by Konnect, Co. (“Konnect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Konnect connects neurodivergent individuals and their supporters to resources, events, employment opportunities, wellness tools, and community. Our platform is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and affirming of neurodivergent identities and experiences.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Konnect. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users between 13 and 17 should have parental or guardian consent. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 13.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of Konnect, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@konnectlife.co
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban.

4. Use of the Platform

Konnect grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Konnect for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Harass, bully, intimidate, or harm other users
  • Post content that is abusive, discriminatory, hateful, or threatening
  • Share false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Attempt to access another user’s account without authorization
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our written consent
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app

5. Community Standards

Konnect is a community built on respect, inclusion, and affirmation of neurodivergent identities. We expect all users to uphold these values. Specifically:

  • Treat all community members with dignity and respect
  • Do not use ableist, derogatory, or stigmatizing language
  • Do not share content that pathologizes or demeans neurodivergent experiences
  • Respect the privacy of other users — do not share personal information about others without consent
  • Report content or behavior that violates these standards using the in-app reporting tools

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate our community standards, in our sole discretion.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Konnect, including profile information, messages, and posts. By submitting content, you grant Konnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit, and that your content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

We are not responsible for content submitted by users and do not endorse any user-generated content. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

7. Third-Party Content and Resources

Konnect provides links and access to third-party websites, articles, events, and resources. These are provided for informational purposes only. Konnect does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for third-party content. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The resources and information available on Konnect are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for personal guidance.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Konnect platform — including but not limited to the Konnect name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software — are owned by Konnect, Co. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any Konnect intellectual property without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of Konnect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at konnectlife.co/privacy to understand our practices.

10. Disclaimers

KONNECT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the platform, including resources, events, or community content.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KONNECT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF KONNECT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE KONNECT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Konnect, Co. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Konnect at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. You may delete your account at any time through Profile > Settings > Delete Account.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

14. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Konnect from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Konnect, Co. only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the app. You must comply with applicable App Store terms of service.

If you downloaded Konnect from Google Play, the same principle applies — these Terms are between you and Konnect, Co., not Google LLC.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Konnect shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email and update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of Konnect after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and delete your account.

17. Accessibility

Konnect is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us at support@konnectlife.co and we will work to address them promptly.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Konnect, Co. regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
